A ‘Unique’ Form of ‘Terrorism’
Here is a thought experiment concerning two men who have issued money. One issued gold and silver coins that will today bring more in dollars than he charged for them. The other issued paper notes that are today worth but a fraction the gold or silver they were worth at the time they were issued. One man is facing the possibility of years in prison after a federal jury found his issuing of money to have been a crime. The other man is walking around free and being treated by the authorities with great deference.
Which is which?

Plenty of snow left for New England spring skiing
In addition to skiing, the spring brings a variety of events at mountain resorts: pond skimming, snow golfing, cardboard box races, motor bike racing, as well as beach and reggae parties and concerts. A lot of the resorts are offering promotions for reduced passes, daily lift tickets, food and drinks. Some inns are offering spring ski getaway packages with discounted resort vouchers, such as the Mulburn Inn in Bethlehem, N.H.

Rep. Andrew J. Manuse: Why I sponsored the TSA 'don't touch my junk' bill
We are sponsoring this bill to call TSA screening of this nature what it is: sexual assault. It is true, we as the state of New Hampshire don’t have the liberty to tell the TSA how to do its job at our airports. That is a federal issue. However, we as a state can tell the TSA what it cannot do, and we can enforce penalties when agents violate our state laws.
Remember, the TSA is not enforcing federal law. It is only enforcing an unconstitutional agency policy. We can tell them to stop. In reality, there is nothing the TSA can do to stop us from putting one of their agents’ names on our sex offender registry. And thus, we chose this approach because it is the only thing we can do to send the message to Washington that the abuses of the TSA have got to stop, and they have to stop now.

NH Bill Would Make Some Airport Screening Sexual Assault
The bill (HB628-FN) "makes the touching or viewing with a technological device of a person’s breasts or genitals by a government security agent without probable cause a sexual assault," according to the introductory text of the bill.

Treasury Secretary Says Tax Overhaul Must Address Businesses Filing as Individuals
U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner told the Senate Finance Committee Feb. 15 that Congress should “revisit” long- standing rules that give businesses a choice of paying taxes as a corporation or through a structure such as a partnership through which they can report business income on individual tax returns.

Squashing Small Business Without Really Trying
By Bill Frezza

I was recently invited down to Washington DC to represent the venture capital industry at a Small Business Administration Office of Advocacy gripe session. At issue were the unintended consequences of an obscure corner of the Sarbanes Oxley Act known as 409(A). Bureaucratic weirdness and utter futility are the best words that come to mind.
