Bachmann forms Tea Party Caucus
By JAKE SHERMAN

Bachmann, already a hero within the tea party, sent a letter to House Administration Chairman Robert Brady (D-Pa.) Thursday to register the House Tea Party Caucus to serve as an “informal group of members dedicated to promote Americans’ call for fiscal responsibility, adherence to the Constitution and limited government.”

Bachmann, in a statement, said Americans have “had enough of the spending, bureaucracy and the government-knows-best mentality running rampant today throughout the halls of Congress.”

Working in Plymouth will bring her closer to her home, something she thinks will be a good move for her. A majority of her professional work has been in the northern part of the state, having been the regional transportation and land use planner for the North Country Council Regional Planning Commission for 10 years in Bethlehem and serving as the executive director of the Northern White Mountain Chamber of Commerce in Berlin.

That Dump of A Property on Trudeau Road

It's a shame that since the closing of the former Ammonoosuc Ranger District station on Trudeau Road in Bethlehem, no one has bothered to maintain the property. During a recent drive-by of the old Ammo headquarters I was dismayed to see that the U. S. Forest Service has allowed the once attractive property to take on all the characteristics of an unwanted and abandoned piece of real estate. With the front lawn unmowed, winter tree damage left as is, and virtually no upkeep whatsoever in evidence, it's hard to believe anyone will want to take this property if and when the government decides to sell it or give it away…
