The Media claims: No More Naked Pictures at Airport Security and Other Changes

Does that mean the scanners are going away? No it doesn't. It just means it'll be harder for a government goon to gawk at your genitals. However, the technology to do so will still be in place.

Make no mistake, so long as those scanners are in place, a naked picture of your body is being taken. Not to mention the risk of medical exposure, plus the "enhanced patdown" if you fail the scanner.
