Single-stream recycling gets the go-ahead | Concord Monitor

Single-stream recycling gets the go-ahead | Concord Monitor:

"Mark Decoteau, Waterville Valley's town manager, said the town signed up because the potential savings from increased recycling outweigh the additional cost of shipping materials south.

"If we can set up a single-stream recycling program, we're hopeful that we can reduce our waste stream by as much as 50 percent, which means we're sending only half the trash up to Bethlehem, where we currently send our solid waste," Decoteau said."
