So there he was, six positions back in the "first cut" line. Everyone was being diverted to the new full-body scanners, which scared Xavier even more. The Estados Unidos government claimed the machines could not hurt travelers, but that was the same government that retaliated against a Saudi terrorist hiding in Pakistan by invading Iraq. Xavier found himself unpersuaded.
