Rep Shea-Porter and Waiting in Line

Article: Shea-Porter: “Many of My Constituents Would Love to Wait in Line for Medical Care”

HotAir's Commentary: The best part of ObamaCare? Lines!
GraniteGrok's Commentary: So, Carol Shea-Porter believes that I want to stand in line for medical care???

In Fairness:
We should note that (we assume) she was referring to those without health insurance and that would be happy that they had the problem of standing in line.

However:
Those of us who have health insurance don't want to have the problem of standing in line! When we talk about standing in line, we're not referring to having to wait in a waiting room. Rather, we referring to shortages that would be created due to unlimited demand (free healthcare) and limited supply (quality healthcare). Especially when those shortages are created by the government confiscating our wages and spreading it around. In short, we don't want to be forced into a government run HMO.

What's More:
When the President says that if we like our health insurance then we can keep it, he's not being completely straight-forward. First, keeping your health insurance may depend upon your employer maintaining your current plan. If they dump it for the cheaper "public option" then you're out of luck. Sorry. Second, if your employer doesn't dump your plan, then when he say your can keep your insurance, he really means that you'll be stuck with it. You won't be able to switch to another private plan without going through the government health-insurance exchanges. Hooray.
