- The "Federal Reserve Transparency Act" is up to 175 co-sponsors.
- 175 co-sponsors! Do you think they'll let it out of committee yet?
- It's time to say enough is enough. The reckless expansion of the money supply and credit, as overseen by the Federal Reserve Banking System, has led the US down the road of ruin.
- Neither of the NH House Representatives are listed as co-sponsors, but one rep from Maine and three from NY are. Why not the NH reps? There's support for it from Democrat Alan Grayson in a memo to his colleagues. (Although, we can't say we agree with everything Rep Grayson proposes)

- Remember how President Obama declared that he "did not stand with greedy bondholders"? Easy assertion when you think the bondholders are unpopular hedge funds. What happens when the bondholders are retirement funds for police, teachers and other civil servants? It's now the UAW vs. the Indiana State Teachers Retirement Fund, Indiana State Police Pension Trust and Indiana Major Move Construction.

On Health Care:
- An Alternative to Obamacare
- We agree with Senator's Coburn and Burr. The problem isn't affordable healthcare, the problem is that the tax code orients affordable healthcare around being employed to a large employer. In the 1930's, FDR was going to take over healthcare, but businesses convinced him that they could handle it. This was good ... for the industrial era. However, we're no longer in the industrial era. We need a healthcare tax code policy that fits today's economy. That means orienting things at the individual level. Orienting things at the Federal Government level will be worse than today's problem. It is an industrial age style proposal!

- Is It Time To Stress-Test the Federal Reserve?
- We're all for corralling the Federal Reserve. However, if at the end of the day, it means that the now answer to Barney Frank, then that would disaster for everyone. The answer is not to put Barney Frank in charge. The answer is to liberate interest rates from manipulation by the Federal Government politicians, both Democrat and Republican.

Is it not ironic that on the eve of the country facing the greatest demographic challenge any nation has ever faced (i.e. baby boomers retiring), that the politicians are doing their collective best to ensure we are in the most unprepared position possible?
