NCES v. DES

TimesArgus.com, on May 3rd, reported "North Country Environmental Services, a Casella subsidiary, recently sued the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services after the company was denied a permit to expand its landfill in Bethlehem. In its lawsuit, the company alleges that the state didn't follow its own procedures when it applied groundwater contamination rules as a basis for denying the permit. Concurrent with the state lawsuit, Casella also appealed the permit denial to the Waste Management Council."
